Wayne has had an illustrious career spanning the fields of electronics, technology, exporting, consulting, training, and real estate. During his career he has become a successful teacher and trainer in several industries. In the late nineties and early two thousand he worked as a consultant in the Information Technology industry. During that time he worked with several fortune 500 companies to deliver technology support services for large business units.

In 2002, Wayne decided to follow his passion for real estate and quickly become the #1 EXIT Realty sales agent in 2003 for gross commission. Wayne Cochrane was Exit Realty's #2 agent in Nova Scotia for gross commission for first 6 months of 2012. Wayne continues to set precedence, winning Exit's silver medallion award the past three years for outstanding sales volume (50-75 transactions).

Giving back to the community is important to Wayne and that’s why he is also involved in several charities, including Habitat for Humanity HRM (past local board chair, currently on the National Funding Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Canada). Wayne is also a Freemason and a Member of Keith's Lodge #17 in Halifax and the Halifax Shriners.
